Name: Debbie Pehrman
Age: 18
Background Information:
Debbie grew up and still lives in Camdenton, Arkansas on her parent’s rice farm. She hasn’t worked on the farm lately, other than to help out when needed,

college to be a physicist or perhaps an engineer of some sort. Once she returns from a month long trip to visit her brother, she is going to return to her job
which is always available to her at the local farmer's cooperative.

Name: Gary Baumgartner
Age: 19
Background Information:
Gary grew up in a house on one of his grandparent's farms. His family has been in their corner of Pennsylvania for several generations
and has built up a successful agriculture business. He is going to school studying to be a large animal veterinarian. He lives on and helps

Name: Faith Bennett
Age: 28
Background Information:
Faith played second cello for the Bennettville Symphony for five years. About four months ago the entire symphony
was told they were going to be laid off even though 20 concerts remained for the season. They didn't even know if there
was going to be a next season! She initially looked around central Tennessee for another symphony to join, but no one was
hiring at that point. Her husband has a secure job so now she spends her day playing with other musician friends and waiting
until her local orchestra is again making beautiful music.

Background Information:
Andre is a master mechanic. He owned his own body shop for years, but sold it about three years ago to try something different.
After the sale, he went to work at the local transmission factory, even though he didn't need the money. Two months ago he was
laid off with several hundred other factory workers. The company said they didn't know when he may be rehired and Andre is not
waiting around to work again for them. He is bored with not "keeping his hands dirty" as he likes to say and wants to get back
to work as soon as he can find a new job. Last week, he called Chip's Auto Body and talked to Chip about a job, but he hasn't heard back yet.
